An honours graduate of RSAMD, Julie has devised, choreographed and performed with a number of Scottish companies as well as managing and developing arts projects. She previously served as the Education and Audience Development Officer at the Arches Theatre.

Julie recently acted as Project Manager for National Theatre of Scotland’s Hunter: Transform Caithness performance – a community education piece featuring over 170 performers and performed in a variety of locations throughout Thurso.
Her performance work outwith Random Accomplice includes The Water Babies, Hansel and Gretel, The Little Mermaid, Spend A Penny, Inferno, Tam O’Shanter (Arches Theatre); An Oak Tree (Tim Crouch); Featherweight, The Cabinet of Doctor Jekyll (Wayward Scot); A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth (Glasgow Rep); Tales of Ordinary Madness (Playwrights Studio Minneapolis script reading).
Johnny trained at Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama on the BA Honours (Contemporary Theatre Practice) course. His directing credits include: Smalltown, Promises Promises (Scotland, West End and Broadway runs),
Marymassacre, Something Wicked, Little Johnny’s Big Gay Adventure (Random Accomplice); Jackie & The Beanstalk, Snow White, Mother Goose (macrobert); Burying Your Brother In The Pavement (RSAMD/National Theatre); Hinterland, DNA, MicroShakespeare, Choose Your Channel (RSAMD). He has also worked as a performer with a multitude of arts organisations including: National Theatre of Scotland, Arches Theatre, Complete Productions, Scottish Opera, 7:84 Theatre Company, macrobert Arts Centre, Glasgow Repertory Company and Visible Fictions.
Educational work includes National Theatre of Scotland, Scottish Opera, 7:84 Theatre Company, National Theatre of Scotland, Arches Theatre Company, Langside College, RSAMD and Scottish Youth Theatre. 2011 will see an education project being led in Hong Kong.
Writing credits include: Jackie & The Beanstalk, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mother Goose, Cinderella (macrobert); Smalltown - Ardrossan, Little Johnny's Big Gay Wedding, Little Johnny’s Big Gay Musical, 7-Year Itch, Marymassacre, Little Johnny’s Big Gay Adventure, Something Wicked (Random Accomplice); First Class – Passport to Paris (Scottish Opera). Johnny is currently working on several new plays: Love Hurts, Hold Weight & Shake, The Diet Diaries and Dr Normal and The Incredibles.
